Had a great meeting last night! 14 people in attendance. We are going to have a group ride on Jan 21 at 9am. Starting at the Floyd Road trailhead Silver Comet trail. Easy ride.

Great job on the meeting, Brett!! I was impressed how organized everything seemed already (sponsers, speakers, etc) and am looking forward to getting involved. Kirk and I are planning on riding next Saturday.

For those of you who missed the meeting, you missed the fun! But seriously, I hope everyone comes to the ride next weekend - especially slow people like me!

Tony,We would love to have you! The plan is to start at the Floyd Road trailhead and ride whatever distance people feel like riding. There are going to be some that want to go longer than others so we will probably split the group up at some point. January 21st @ 9am, feel free to email or PM me for more info.

Hey Brett, good to see you guys getting organized. Just a reminder that we have our only local tri here on 18 March. It is the Parris Island sprint. It is the perfect 1st tri or for the veteran out to tune up or set a PR. It has a pool swim and a dead flat bike and run. Check in my "log" for the race link. Beaufort is about 5 hours away from Atlanta as we are about 40 miles north of Savannah but we have an abundance of motels and B&B's. Nothing like racing where the Marines train.

btw I DID change the avatar. How about that.

Uniforms- For those of you who are interested we are going to be placing a uniform order soon. It's looking like the cost will be somewhere around $100 for top/bottom, and $55 for just a top. These are rough numbers, I just need to get an idea of how many of you are interested. PM or email me if you would like to participate. Money will be due at our next meeting Feb 2.

Count me in ... I'll do the shirt (singlet?) and tri-shorts.  Ddo you have a mock-up? Which brand are you thinking of using?

Btw, instead of running in the streets, I am thinking of doing my TI drills.

For those of you who might not get the email. Club meeting Thursday Feb 2 Roswell Park. The meeting is at 7pm, but if anyone is interested we can meet at 6 and run prior to the meeting. We will be voting on the charter, budget, and showing off the new logo, as well as placing our uniform order. We are only getting singlets (tops) and they will be $30 or so. Let me know if you are interested and what size you wear. We are ordering from Sugoi and they run a bit small. I will link the sizing chart at the bottom.
