They might as well rename the broadcast, "The Sarah Show" (she earned it).

I'm hoping they have a decent amount of coverage of the 80-year old guy that finished.

I'm also hoping they have quite a bit on Faris, b/c the dude is just a breath of fresh air ... and he's been consistently improving as the years have gone by. Be interesting to hear Stadler's comments, and I still don't know what happened to DeBoom.

The "AG'er" stories were the highlight of my first viewing ... Dick and Rick Hoyt steal every show they appear on, as they should. But, now that I've seen a few of them, I'd like to see more about the pros and the actual race. That's not to say I don't want to see any AG'er stuff, b/c Sarah and the 80-yo guy are 2 of the biggest stories at the event, but it was a heckuva race, I'd like to see more than just 10 minutes devoted to that. I don't need the see another documentary of an AG'er that gets up in the morning to train, has a spouse, kids, etc ... that basically describes almost every triathlete in existence. I see that every day *grin*.

TripleThreat - I am right there with ya. I would like to see more Pros air time as the inspirational stories are getting a bit old. I know why they do it and I know it is awesome what some people had accomplished, but that doesn't mean the top competitors haven't sacrificed as much to get where they are. BTW, I see you are a regular poster at ST, and even though I don't agree with all your views, you do post great comments there. I am mostly a lurker (not for much long though) as some of the topics discussed there aren't of my interest but I like how much knowledge some of the members have and share in particular the ones doing this for years and the pros like Simon (even though you think he is a quitter )

Just an FYI, be careful with your TIVO or DVR for this. The Notre Dame football game is on TV before the IM, so if the game go's long, it could screw up the recording.

I promise that my Fighting Irish will make quick work of the Midshipmen so that no one's IM Kona broadcast will be delayed or interupted.

So if it runs over and pre-empts the IM, just post your home address here so's we can find you easily!

Just kidding (I think)!
