Subject: Hey Ron

this triathlon website is a great idea as well as the various new "thread areas"

I think you're missing one important and potentially most frequented "thread area"

"Politics"

This is obviously Ron's decision, but that's going a bit far in IMHO. For instance what would happen if a thread turned into a discussion over the particular merits of the burritos in "red" states vs. the burritos in "blue" states. What forum would it belong in?

I think in some cases abortion shoud be allowed on a retro-active basis,,,,,, thus guns are necessary

i always enjoy a good political or religious thread if the planets were aligned so that people were temporarily robbed of there emotions allowing a civil thread not degenerating in name-calling...it sure beats a few posts i came acrossed today! (shaking my head dissapointedly)

but that won't ever happen for another few million years.

So you don't like my "Cool Cops" and "Cereal Part Deux" polls? I think that's quality material right there. I think we can safely say we're all better off having voted in those polls. BTW, can you bump my post count to match RunnerGirls?

There was degeneration and name-calling and I missed it? Was I a part of it (and still missed it)?
