Comments:

wow. I have no idea how I did this so fast. I did a run 8 walk 1, and I still did it in almost a 10 min pace! felt great! Some minor knee clicking around mile 4, so I slowed the last mile, but no hip pain.
What would you do differently?:

not much. from now on I plan to eat and drink too much the night before all my races!
Post race
Warm down:

went inside for raffle and beer (I drank juice, how can you drink beer after a race??)

What limited your ability to perform faster:

nuthin' I went too fast

Event comments:

very small and fast race- less then 200 people, and at just over a 10 minute pace, we were DFL !(for runners, there were a few walkers) but lowkey and fun. many Headhunters and other triathletes there (MANY IM bumper stickers in the parking lot) K won a great long sleeve tech shirt in the raffle which I promptly stole. A great way to bring in '06!

Speedy speedy.  It was all the alcoholic carbo loading the night before

And beer after (or during) a race is the greatest thing ever!

Seriously...awesome run!
