Subject: RE: Twinkie to deliver evening newsRenee - Actually, we probably have weightier discussions here than what is found on most TV, don't you think? Yea, probably. Here's one problem with the internet age, though. I think most people tend to choose sites that most correspond to their beliefs, politics, ect. That limits our exposure to other thoughts and opinions. BT is actually, in my experience, one of those rare sites with a good amount of cross polination. It just makes me wonder what that does to the body politic. In my yut, it seemed that everyone was in synch with zeitgeist. 'Cause, I guess, most people were watching either Chet and David, Walter Cronkite, or Howard K Smith. Now, it's all over the place. Now, the zeitgeist changes so fast that it doesn't seem to be relevant anymore. Even the word "zeitgeist" isn't used anymore, which proves my point and is probably a good thing anyway. I just worry a bit about what will hold us all together. Edited by dontracy 2006-04-05 10:21 AM
