Hot Runner - 2011-11-20 7:17 PM

Two-hour run starting at 5 AM. Then sitting all day at a workshop. Guess which one was harder for me? Oh yeah, it was DRY and kinda sorta cool this AM--did wonders for feelings of well-being on the run.

Brian--Congrats on the marathon. Wasn't that two in a month? Don't think I've even done two in the same year!

Yep, that's two in three weeks. Not sure I want to do that again. I turned in a reasonable time but I was really feeling worn out after mile 18. Just went for ice cream so feeling slightly better!

Thanks. 3 full marathons and a half this year, good thing I enjoy running

Did a pool swim with the Tri team this morning - lots of drills along with a couple of decending sets - I have a slow speed and a faster speed - nothing in the middle, but I hope to get there some day.

then it was a track workout - it was cold for us Seattle folk so we took it a bit easy.  3 mile decend...mile 1 - slow, mile 2 marathon pace, mile 3 - 20-30 seconds faster!  GREAT workout!

GREAT day!

Congrats Brian - did Philly last year!

1 hour intense strength/cardio bootcamp, then 2 hours of Krav Maga. Level 1 for extra cardio, then the advanced class worked on L3-L5 stuff, lots of striking, good cardio, got stabbed in the face with a fake knife... Back to SBR come Monday. I dig my little cross training days, especially when the weather is mid 30's and raining. :-(

7 mile easy run tonight.  I was supposed to get an hour on the trainer too but I had a pretty rough week and missed a lot of sleep.  I'll make up the bike tomorrow as well as get my normal swim in.  I'm off all week this week so I hope to be able to get a lot done early so I can spend time with my family a little more at night.

Congrats on the marathon Brian.  2 marathons in 3 weeks is pretty rough.

I was supposed to run 2 hours but only made it 1 1/2 hours. Thank goodness Monday is a day off.

40 miles climbing hills, (well it's always climbing in Vegas), dressed in warmest clothes I have.  It's freezing for us at 65 F with a light breeze.

Food shopping with wifey for upcoming eats
