My better half and I are both in, brining along three newbies, too...two friends and my 15 year-old niece, which I am pretty excited for. Her dad told her he'd give her $100 if she finishes and an extra $50 if she beats me. I told her to get him to make it $100 extra because she'll be kicking my fanny all over the course. |

Jockstrapping
Team Motiv8 will have a tent, as will the RACING GREYHOUNDS. I normally bring a plain blue tent to set up near the finish line for all of the BT folks (and their families) to use as homebase, so I will do the same again this year. Did my first Tri last year at Hawk Island and I must say I was blown away by how much I enjoyed the actual event. I honestly thought it was going to be anti-climactic after all the training I had put in to prepare for it. Looking back I wish I would have soaked it all in a little more. They put on a great event at Hawk Island, you'll enjoy it.
