A planned three hour ride around the reservoir turned into a one hour out and back due to the cold. Looks like March will be spent on the trainer.

Already done on this side of the world. 100 km of biking (3:40), 50 minutes of running afterwards. Worst part of the whole endeavor was hauling my bike up four flights of stairs during "transition". First time I felt like I actually might be able to run 13 miles after all that biking; didn't, though, as  temps were edging toward triple digits by then. Now have horrible bike shorts tan! 20 minutes of easy swimming tonight to stretch out.

25 miles on the trainer followed by 5 miles on the tread mill.     Will swim 1.2 miles when the pool opens at 1:00 this afternoon.

Time to get serious.

Hour+ rough ocean swim. Ruff, ruff, ruff!

2:12 run. It was an adventure. At one point I was running along, madly scratching my arms from mosquito bites, and this one guy felt sorry for me, so he climbed his tree and picked a big guava for me, took off some of the cool juicy peel and put it on my arms. Much better! I took the nice ripe guava home for a snack later.

13.1 miles this morning. Great day although it was a bit on the warm side. And I beat both of my goals. Yeah!

Greetings!  Noticed alota swimming and running happening today. =)

Waiting for the weather to warm up a bit more before OWS practice (it's in the low 50s here right now).  Whether that happens for not, I'm gonna get my 10 mile run in before the day is over! ^_^

16 mile repeat of last weeks long run today.  8:20/mi pace.  Had to cut it short from planned 17.2 miler due to time constraints.  Damn you daylightsavings!  It was terible out this morning with pouring rain for 5 of the miles and consistent rain for the rest.  Nice to have temps in the mid 30's in the morning though.

90 mile bike followed by a 10 mile brick run.

Started the bike in the rain finished in the sunshine. I didn't put on sun screen, I mean really who puts on sunscreen when it's raining? Now I'm sun burned :-/

60+ degrees in Northern Illinois is the beginning of March? This is unheard of. Finally was able to get off the trainer and go for a ride outside. Did 30 miles easy this afternoon and now going for a swim.

got in a nice easy 10K this morning, first run in a week. I have been too busy in the pool trying to learn to swim and with the bike , too hit the roads as much as I would like.

Planned a 70 mile run but a flat tire 32 miles in convinced me to turn back early. Still got a good ride and then short run in though. Great weather in Cincinnati!

Does mashing a 40-pound vintage 1940s balloon-tire bike into the wind for an hour while wearing tight jeans count towards my triathlon training? What awesome weather today. Laughing
