Yeah, I saw that and thought it was funny as well.

I don't think that kick stands are banned specifically in the rules.  Sounds like somebody did something stupid at the mount line involving a kick stand.

Captin, if you can't figure out how to remove the kick stand call me and I'll walk you through it.

this is a great race. I saw so many friends and that just makes it super fun! Makes me happy to see so many like minded people loving the same things I do. Weather was PERFECT!! Finally! I think this was my first race since Boston 2010 since I couldn't use the weather sucked excuse.

I think the swim was long and torturous. I got punched in the face! I've never been pummeled by so many peeps in wetsuits. It was like swimming with Orcas. Loved every long second of it. I've never really been in the "washer" like that before. Reminded me of my childhood swim days at Swim Atlanta....

Bike is what it is since I've only been back riding 6 weeks. EVERYBODY passed me.

I rocked the run.

Nabbed a 3 minute pr and 1st in AG.

Can't complain. My goals were Pr, AG swag and to own the run. Missions accomplished.

This race was awesome. Aside from being a really great race - course, volunteers, organization - I can't even quite believe that I exceeded my goal by so much. I figured that if the stars aligned and everything came together, I'd have what it takes to just break 3 hours. I still have no idea how I managed to finish 7+ minutes faster than that. This was my second tri and first Olympic.

I was a little disappointed when I checked my watch as I got out of the water and I was over 30 minutes. As it turns out, only one person in the AG was under 30 minutes and I was second fastest. The world passed me on the bike. I literally passed one person, and they immediately passed me back. I picked a lot of people off on the run, though.

I'm seriously still floored.

The race was great.  Very well organized and a good time overall.  Unfortunately, my race didn't go as well I as had hoped.  The swim went about like I expected - slow and steady and I was very fast in T1, especially considering I had to pull off my wetsuit.  The bike is where things starting going south.  My bike felt off the whole time - felt like there was more tension than normal when I was pedaling.  Sure enough, when I checked it after the race, my rear brake had turned so that one of the pads was making contact with the wheel.  I managed to get myself disoriented in T2 and overshot my rack twice.

The first part of the run went really well.  I was passing EVERYONE.  Not a single person passed me or even came close to my pace.  My back started feeling tight at about 3.5 miles.  At mile 4 I got cramps in my back so bad that I couldn't breath.  I had to stop and bend over to catch my breath.  I walked until my back felt better - all the time watching all the people I had passed as the passed me back.  Once my back felt okay I started running again - not quite the same pace, but still fairly fast.  It only took a few minutes before the cramps came back and I had to walk again.  Rinse and repeat for 2 miles.  I have no idea what was going on with the cramps.  I have never had back cramps while running before.  My best guess is that I was riding in aero more than usual and it had stressed my back muscles.  Then running just tipped it over the edge.

Great job out there Frank! Next time, I do not want to see you taking a nap under a shady tree during the run. You can do that after you finish.

Yah man!  I needed that at the end...great working with you on that one.  I loved his reaction when we got him.  I could tell he was not happy.  Added to the fun of it.
