Veteran 334 | Subject: RE: Peterbourough triathlon.... alot more weeds on the outside (right hand) side if I remember as well...dont like weeds...fight the crowds...also the bike course is nice rollers, you can generaly get enough speed down one hill to help get you up the next fairly easy...I found that the rollors on the run sucked way more then the bike |

The swim was not so great, but I guess you can't win them all! Congrats!! that's no small achievement having both a great bike and run! I did the half - and the bike was about 4k short of 90k but it was a great event. I had a great swim for me - a mass start is definitely something to do at least once. The weather in the am was perfect conditions for biking - no real wind, calm and cool-ish at least for this time of year. The run was a whole lotta hot (and it was a cooler day overall than it had been in the days leading up). The volunteers were really fantastic - it must have been a hard day for them too being out in the heat for so long - thank you thank you thank you! |
