Melon Presser  52116   |  Subject: I know y'all THINK you have the best mentor group ...... but I can't help but be awed, humbled, entertained, and overjoyed with the Manatees every single day. When I was last depressed and having a difficult time, the far-flung Manatees got together beautiful cards and a most comprehensive get-well care package at Salty's (my co-mentor), who entrusted this priceless packet to, of all things, the U.S.P.S. and then the Indonesian postal service. We're kind of on island time, so now, a few months later, my precious cargo is here and it couldn't have arrived at a better time. I'm at my folks' place (a very challenging situation under the best of circumstances), sick again (not too badly, I hope), and in desperate need of this loving Manatee cheer. So many of you have sent love, prayers, messages, and wonderful things--each of you, and these, I cherish. The heroes of this time are my beloved Manatees. THANK YOU!!!!! I had a feeling you may have made a significant sacrifice in many ways, Ringleader Manatee. The cereals have been put to appropriate sacrifice to the Goddess of Yanti Manatee Belly already. I'm half through the mini-Mini Wheats and I'd say a third of the "kid tested, mother approved" are gone too. I have not wanted to eat anything all day, but those cereals got clasped to my bosoms and worshiped IMMEDIATELY. |
