I play in a kickball league and a touch football league during the week.

- Golf: although I have dedicated less and less time to it as I have gotten more into triathlons.

- Water Polo:  I play some occasional tournaments with old friends, but unfortunately just can't find enough interested people most of the time.  I also coach and referee on occasion.

- Beach volleyball:  I don't get many opportunities anymore, though, due to my work schedule along with race schedule in the short Michigan summers.

- Basketball:  I used to get in pickup games once or twice per week.  The main reason I don't do this much anymore is I don't like the atmosphere at my gym.

- Racquetball:  Another that I used to do frequently, but with my work schedule I can't commit to any leagues so I don't play much anymore.

Beyond that, I would love to play in a flag football league or a softball league, but I don't really like joining teams with people I don't know, and I just can't get the interested parties around here.

I play volleyball year round and I find it a nice break from the training.  I work out early AM so I have all day to recover.

I also play softball, golf, hunt and wakeboard.  Thinking about giving up softball to do more tri's though and I rarely golf anymore.  Hunting comes in the off season and I live in a lake community so we go out on the weeknights after work and I do all my training in the morning.

I joke I have too many hobbies... I just have too many time consuming hobbies.  Golf is at least 5 hours of time out of your day.  Softball is 2 games in a night plus a 1 hour brake, so at least 4 hours out of a night.

Yoga and pilates - great alternative strength training.

Women's city league basketball - when I feel mean and want to throw elbows - C'mon, it really is just blocking out.

Competition shooting, sea kayaking, hiking, xc-skiing & show shoeing.  The shooting and kayaking have taken a back seat to tris at the moment, but I'll be working to balance them out a bit more next year.  Dabbled at golf a few times, but haven't been able to invest the time to get into it.

My cat always cheats and I end up bleeding.  She's very sharp.

Rollerblading, Ice skating, and dog agility with the shelties, we do the dog agility all year round so its already in the rotation twice a week minimum, the ice skating is more recreational and sporatic.

Wow, until I saw this I wouldn't even have considered another sport!   Triathlon training and racing already consumes almost all my free time, and most of my disposable $$$.  Hard enough to hold down a 40 hour a week job and still find time to train as much as I want to.

I don't do much else during the season (we hike, but that's about it). In the off-season, we XC ski, downhill ski and snow shoe race.

I really want to get into cross-country skiing. I've been a few times, and really liked it. I just need some equipment, I've already got the snowy winters at my doorstep!

Weightlifting/bodybuilding.  I wanted to do some low level events over the winter but injured my shoulder which halted all lifting and came to the conclusion I have too much loose skin in my mid section from losing over 100 pounds a few years ago.  It's also a contradictory sport to triathlons (big vs. lean) so I will still lift but not be training/dieting to do any BB events.
