Subject: peasentman Steel distance tri

There is a new race taking place in Kueka NY.  Its the peasentman.  Found at peasentman.com. 

Kenj, Marmadaddy and I are in for it.  Hell its in our back yard could not do it.

My first Long tri. I'm scared.

I've spoken with Joe McMahon and Chris Greklek of the management team putting this race on, and it really sounds like they're doing it right.  They know ultra-distance triathlon from the athlete's point of view, they're smart, experienced business people and they have buy in from the community.  All signs point to this being a great race.

We should do a reconnaissance ride of the bike over the fall.

Sounds like a good idea! It will have to be early October for me!

I was just told about this by my best friend who lives in Penn Yan. We're in!! She's planning the full, I am planning the 1/2. Excited about it! It'll be my first.
