As Jerry Garcia Said "The lesser of two evils is still evil."

This is a tough election, I know of several friends that don't want to vote for Obama but don't think that Romney is a good choice either.

I have my Mail in Ballot on my desk, in Colorado there are 16 Presidential Candidates on the Ballot.  Even though I know that he does not have a chance to win I will probably vote for Johnson mainly because I don't want to vote for Obama or Romney.

I heard a radio commentator say today that anyone who votes 3rd party in a swing state
is voting to feel good rather than do good.

I hope you change your mind and vote for either Obama or Romney,
whichever one you agree with the most, even if it's not very much.

Otherwise, you'll be helping the other candidate win.

I can go along with that thought ( having to vote for either O or R). Almost academic at this point... it will likely be a big victory for Romney unless something changes drastically..... there will definitely be an October surprise.

If I think both candidates plan to rape and pillage the taxpayers, why would I support either one?

This year is a plug your nose and vote election for me.  They all stink.  Some more than others.  It's a matter of who do I dislike LESS this year.

Interesting-- if our little straw polls here have been accurate, there seems to have been a slight shift toward Obama since the first poll, which would be at odds with the trend of national polls.

That is interesting.  I wonder if anyone changed their vote from last time.

I voted Romney but I have since changed my mind to Johnson. I wasn't aware he had made it onto the ballot in Idaho. If he did I will be voting for him. Romney is getting Idaho's whopping 3 electoral votes no matter what so I might as well throw a little support toward the Libertarian party. If I was in a swing state I would vote Romney, but it doesn't really matter here.

Romney

I voted Libertarian in 2008 (Bob Barr). This time I decided to vote for someone who has a chance to beat President Obama. I live in Minnesota, though, so it’s arguable whether even Romney has a chance.

A vote for anyone other than Romney is a vote for Obama.  Might as well avoid "proving" a point and give Romney the vote.

I'm not proving a point, I'm voting my conscience. I'm picking who I would want to represent me and govern the country. Isn't that the point of letting us vote?
