Subject: Kona on TV this Saturday
Sorry if this has already been posted but I searched and didn't see anything. I thought Kona was normally broadcast on NBC in December, but I just saw a commercial saying it will be broadcast this Saturday at 4 pm for 2 hours! Guess no good college football games are on this weekend

It's on Saturday, not Sunday?  Crap!  I was looking forward to watching it during my only free time this weekend, which will be Sunday between my swim and my long run.

Lance was expected to compete.  At that time NBC agreed to air it longer, and sooner assuming that Lance would drive up viewership.  Even though Lance did not compete at Kona they still had it scheduled / agreed to.

So it isn't that he is not completing that had an affect, it is that he was expected too.

Then a DVR is perfect for you.  I watch very little TV,  But when I do have a moment, I sit down and there's always something waiting for me.  The concept of scheduling your life around when a show is on is a completely foreign concept now.

So, I just typed in Ironman on my DishTV app, and in seconds it told me that it was this Saturday at 1-3pm on NBC.  I hit the 'Record' button on my iphone and it tells my DVR to record it for me.  I just don't understand how I used to live without this capability.
