Apparently he's now quit altogether?

May be the best move for Livestrong anyways, I hope they can continue to do great things.

Lance is such a disappointment..........at this point, what could possibly be wrong with just saying, "yeah, me too"?

Unfortunately in a case like this with such a prominent figure head, that figure head IS the foundation. Despite the overwhelming good that Lance and the foundation has done I believe this will pretty much come undone at the seams as he leaves.

Is he just trying to shoot a bird at society by tweeting this weekend a pic of himself laying out "chilling" in front of his trophy case at home and all 7 of his winning jerseys from TdF?  Seems like an arrogant attitude at this point.

It kinda seems fair that if he "came clean" and admits to doping, he should get the same 6 month suspension as the rest of the "Dopers". I believe he doped back in the "Doping Days" but I imagine he has been riding clean for a long time.

After all the hub-bub, I thought that picture was hilarious.  Dude flipped the bird to everyone, he just doesn't give a cr*p.

Agreed.  Who cares? He lied, cheated, doped, bullied..

What a fantastic message to send to all young athletes and his supportive fans.

Rock on Lance!!!

I've held back on forming an opinion on LA for a long time.  I now think his true colors are coming out.  All of his adversaries made claims that he was a power-tripping, self-absorbed jerk who tried to run the game like a mafia kingpin.  Most if not all were shot down and branded as jealous pot stirrers.

It appears the naysayers were right and now they get vindication.  He has lost pretty much all respect and fallen off his pedestal.  It will be interesting to see where this all leads for him.

Perhaps he'll go Charlie Sheen on the world.  Doped tiger blood!

I agree, the tweet cracked me up. I don't understand why people that are offended by Lance continue to follow him on twitter. I loved the picture of Hawaii and the trophy room.

He has lost a great deal but there are limits to what can be taken. Those limits will be tested in the coming years and I think more people will learn that there are no easy story lines and people don't fit neatly into hero and villain boxes.

Not to get going back and forth but you did not fix anything for me. What the others did or didn't do (and I happen to agree with you that they did not quit doping cold turkey in 2006) has nothing to do with what I wrote. The 2 post exchange between pschriver and myself was about Lance and nobody else was mentioned.
