I hear you. I definitely have a lot of stuff lined-up starting early Jan so I may be on less because of it.  But it's good to have a gang like you guys in my new digs.

Meh talks funny but likes it hot so she has a cold bed.

Mon wants to learn to read on a nook/tablet or whatever.

Teej is leaving TAN effective Jan 1 for ever.

Techdiver is gonna be awake for surgery because he's canadian.

Tony stopped-in just long enough for us not to like him again.

Chris was only here for a minute but still managed to drop a few funny lines.

Kate is back from Vegas soiling young minds.

Did I miss anything?

Oh and Shades of Grey is the official book of TAN for today even though it's too slow and poorly written.

Awesome! if they use the same service called 'overdrive' - they have an app for pretty much every system.  I've read the books, got the audiobooks, etc. pretty cool - and if you search on your device it will only return formats compatible with your device.  I like free - i love books but i've gotten over needed to have all of the ones I've read. 

As for 'outlander' - holy crap! I just read the second one and basically no one could talk to me for a week and a half. Book crack!  I was so embroiled in the thing.  I do want to read the third but I need to not do it back to back as I need to get other things done! They have the first five on e-books from the library ... we'll see if the others will be on by the time i get there. 

Don't know how I forgot these two gems:

Iowaman should be under observation and receive some counseling because he has thoughts of murder in a computer class.

Pitt pulled-off the best line of the day though with "Harry Potter and the Porcelain Throne."

Sounds like a basic TAN day then....

I have always found that to be an interesting annomoly...

I know the new year is symbolic to "new" and everyone does it, but there is no reason to put off becoming happier/better for some date.  You can start NOW.

But I'm guilty as well.  New year, first of the month, beginning of a new week - all good starting points.  "I'll start the new diet on Monday".  No reason you can't eat well NOW...

NOW is a good starting point, no?

Now is a terrible starting point.  Except when it comes to something like stop smoking crack or stop beating your wife or something like that. What with the end of the world only 4 days away and all.

That was pretty funny.  With a tiny dagger right?  All that dagger would've done would be poke a few little holes. 

And how powerful are a guinea pig's hands to stab with?  He would need to be one strong guinea pig...

Well, maybe waiting 4 days isn't all that bad.  No reason to drop a lb or 2 just to go up in smoke in 4 days.  MAYBE if we get a reprieve and a second chance?

As for smoking?  I say, smoke'm if you got'm...

I do, if I drank too much and need to purge.

That movie was pretty funneh..

SORT of interesting story.  My honeymoon was in Hawaii and one of our tours drove by the big opening scene location where they blew everything up.  This was before the movie came out.  They actually bought a bunch of tree, trucked them in, then blew them up.  No actual forests were blown up for this movie...  (is that the normal disclosure?)

I think Robert Downy was almost eerie in his roll.  convincing in an odd way.
