I have the perfect excuse.

It wasn't me.  The kitty ordered it.

This works until Christmas day when you have that stupid look on your face and don't have any presents to actually give her.  Ask me how I know!

I've started having my packages delivered to my office as well as my personal credit card bill. Yesterday Chain Love had Dura ace cassettes at a serious discount...the first time a chain love package came to the door the Fed-ex guy gave my wife a funny look and she insisted that those go to my office which I took as my cue for all deliveries.

And I thought I was the only one to do that, and then sneak it in after dark. LOLWink... Actually I gave  the wife a list of tri stuff with sites to buy from for the best price with the  goodies I wanted and she gave me a list of Photography Stuff she wanted.. There have been parcels arriving every day for the last week.

I try to buy my wife something every time I find new toys that I "need". It avoids me having to hide anything which isn't really fair and it's fun to buy presents for her!

Cool cat I wish my dogs would do that. My hubby and I each have our own "play" account that we can spend as we wish no questions asked. Equal amounts go in to each account each week. It has saved many arguments and I'm not even at the stage of contemplating enhancing my entry level bike yet

One advantage of being single....Santa's already made his delivery and it's waiting in my closet!  Seriously, though, you need to get your fiancee into tri....then you can go broke together.  BTW your cat and my Vietnamese one have the same "paint job" (as well as computer obsession) only mine seems to be less fluffy and more aero build.

we kinda do this too. When I get a bonus, tax return, what ever... We allocate funds to retirement, college savings, house improvements... and then we each get an equal amount to spent on what ever with no questions.

She likes to run and even bike occasionally, but after several years I've made no progress on the swimming front.
