This is a political forum and if there was no dissent we would all be accused of group think. Now someone has to disagree with me to keep it going. Of course they will be wrong but so what... this is America and they just have to. Originally posted by Hook'em I'm just wondering how many of these oops threads you get before you're put in time out. It not as if they keep moving to button around on you. I have to disagree. With the new format it's really easy to accidentally create a new thread. edit: Wow.. just saw you did this three times today PW. Itchy trigger finger? That's it Pector. You've crossed the line! I'm deeply offended. *stomps off and PMs mods*

For the record.... it is where the reply button used to be... and no forum on the web, at least the many I go to... has the "reply" button... INSIDE the post body. Even if it is at the bottom of the post like many in a header. It is not intuitive compared to all the rest, and the old one, for the "reply" to be where it is. And no forum on the web, has a "new thread" button, inside the thread. They keep them inside the forum itself.... to start a new thread in that forum. That and I am a slow learner. It's on the list to get changed. I have a feeling that just about the time I change it, it will become learned behavior and y'all will want it changed back. I'm not going to win on this. |

Oh you know that! You'll be getting PM'ed to change it back... or PMS from Vegas... or something like that. I have not inadvertently started a new thread in awhile now. |

Subject: RE: Delete. really. Originally posted by Ron It's changed back to what it was. Awaiting pm's to change it back. I've got to say I'm digging the "Report Spam" button. That's been needed for a while It would be nice to be able to reply to a thread rather than having to reply to a specific post, though. The "New Thread" thing hasn't really been an issue for the vast majority of the time. |

Champion 13323 | Subject: RE: Delete. really. Instead of 'new thread' at the top of the post page, it's now 'reply' (next to 'add to favorites')...so you can just hit that. I believe that's how it was before. Originally posted by DanielG Originally posted by Ron I've got to say I'm digging the "Report Spam" button.
