Subject: RE: Final Season of Breaking Bad (Spoilers Likely)" I did it for me. I liked it. I was good at it. I was ...alive." The scene with Walt watching Flynn through the window really, really got to me. I couldn't imagine that being the last time I ever saw my son. I thought the entire final sequence with Jesse and the Nazis and Walt was pretty amazing. The relentless spraying of the machine gun, well after everyone was dead, was a great reinforcement of the ridiculous and overbearing nature of Walt's behavior over the past few years. Jesse finally breaking free of Walt's will, and then just "breaking free" was great. And the final scene, with Walt looking over the meth lab with a sense of pride tinged with regret... well... what can you say? Perfect. |
