Who's in? Planning on Vegas for the 3rd year in a row, running the 13.1. Wondering if anyone found a good concert / show. Aerosmith / Cheap Trick was great last year.

 There are 5-6 of us BT girls that are coming down/over to Vegas mainly for fun, but also for the race.  I'm doing the HM.

I found a sprint, the Lake Las Vegas Triathlon, that was happening four months down the road and signed myself up; much to the surprise of friends and family.

I just started doing tris this summer and I have two under my belt, both sprints. Is it reasonable to build up for a Oly in early ‘09, with a HIM in Oct of ‘09

I will assume you have not run consistently more than 6 miles and have never completed a half-marathon. I believe running your first half-marathon is a big task which requires dedication and work.

After you have established the Ironman goal, the most important factor outside of the training is which race to choose? What is your best sort of course, hilly, rolling, flat?
