Subject: What really annoys me about the Tour coverage
Is not Bob Roll, I'm even getting to like the guy.
Its those flipping "Cyclysm" spots. You know the ones with the bearded fellow describing the background to the tour like some Greek play. I know Jan Ullrich came second 5 times and Tyler Hamilton rode with a broken collar bone. Yes my heart will be able to stand the excitement. It just cant stand him.
Anyone else feel the same? Or is it just me?

I'm pretty tired of all the commercials. There is a particulary bad one for a "turn-key" business of some type. Makes me run screaming from the room. I can take the Lance/Yellow/Nike/USPS ones any day however.

You know, I actually LIKED those commercials when I saw them the first several hundred times. But they are getting OLD OLD OLD. I agree.

I also enjoy the "Watch Lance Bike Ride in Different Situations" commercials, and I even enjoy that one Subaru commercial where they talk about seeing your inner "being".

Now, Bob Roll, that's another story... I do like his commentary, however his wild hand gestures are distracting. Someone needs to tell him to sit on his hands. Seems like a nice enough guy, though... and I notice he's wearing one of those yellow wrist band things. I ordered mine today... It's on it's way.

I tape each days stage while I am at work and view it when I get home around 5:00. Although technically, I have viewed the ads as I fast forwarded through them to get back to the race, I don't know what they are saying...nor do I care really.

I don't know if OLN Canada has exactly the same coverage, but I am amused that the "Subaru Tour Moment of the Day" or whatever it's called is ALWAYS the final sprint!  Well duh, of course the final 1 minute is going to be the most exciting moment of the day 99.9% of the time!  Why bother having this at all?

Today was a great race. How would you like to lead a race for 60k only to be caught in the final seconds? Bummer.

The commercials are really getting tiresome. The AOL Parental Controls commercial is driving me crazy. Doesn't AOL have another commercial besides that one? I will never get AOL as long as I live, the same as I can never dring Jack Daniels since it was the first booze I got really sick on.

This weekend is going to showcase some killer races. Bring on the mountains!

I am totally LMAO @ the Starbucks commercial, the one with the Survivors singing "Roy!  Roy, Roy, Roy!" in the elevator.  Now I have the "Eye Of The Tiger" running through my head all day long!

The other night I was watching the tour, and I was thinking to myself  "I don't know if I **CAN** stand it! Can my heart stand it!!??" I was so excited, heart beating rapidly... breathing breathing breathing.... Cheering for Lance, wearing my Yellow Lance-band, I'm a regular Tour de Freak. 

Loving this....!
