Just realized it was 4 years ago today I got off the couch and made my way to the local YMCA to start a fitness class (Men's fitness bootcamp was the name). Had spent too may years inactive, behind a desk, and making poor food choices, and had never been heavier. Not a good physical situation. Since then I managed to lose 60 pounds, get fit, and find triathlon (and then learned to run & swim). Currently training for my 4th HIM which happens this June. Never felt better in my life. Good Stuff

Congratulations to you!  That is a major accomplishment :)

What made you decide to change and what do you think made it stick for you?

WOOT!  WOOT!

Way to go Mike!

Wish I'd gotten in to Patriot, too…  Oh well.  Will you do Tman again this year?

How's the hammy?

Congrats on 4 years off the couch.  May the indentation in the cushions never get deeper.

Matt

The off-season is the best time to fine tune your skills and prepare yourself for the next season. It is also time for you to gain some strength and get a little rest after a long season of training.
