Excuses: Dang calf will just not cooperate with the running, was unable to run for 2 weeks and back to square one now. Oh and one ride cut short due to 30mph wind.

A Race: IM CDA in 2 months.

Totals:

Swim: 23550

Bike: 417.6

Run: 46.1

Going into survival mode for the IM marathon.

I'm too random to have an A race. My favorite is coming up June 8, IMKS 70.3 then randomness may take me to AG Nationals in August, that could become my A race....

Swim: 8h 00m - 25000 Yd

Bike: 19h 22m 29s - 367.38 Mi

Run: 8h 02m 09s - 57.2 Mi

I'll start with the totals

Swim - 8:10 27,657 yds

Bike - 15:44 321mi

Run - 10:10 84.85mi

The swim and bike are down due to me going out of town a lot during the weekends, which kept me out of the pool and not as available for long rides.  I swam for 20.9% less time this month over last and 19.7%less yardage.  Bike was down 23.9% in time and 21.3% in distance.  The good news about those figures is the drop in distance is less than the distance in time, so at least I'm doing less at a faster pace.  More quality can't hurt.

The run I saw a 12% increase in time spent and 12.5% increase in distance.  Without as much time to ride my bike, I was able to get some more running in.  My A race is the Memphis in May sprint and olympic, which are both 3 weekends from now.  After that I'll focus on Sprint Nationals.

Not a great month for me as I'm sloooooooowly getting over a pinched nerve in my neck & trying to get my back/hips/sciatica figured out.

Swim:  3200 yds (1hr 6mins)

Bike: 141.9 miles (15hrs 45mins - did a LOT of time on the trainer)

Run: 43.55 miles (7hrs)

Personal Trainer:  3hrs

Stretching: 45mins

Yoga: 4.5hrs

I'm really hoping to have a better month for May - my A race is at the end of September: IM Chattanooga, but it's getting closer every day!!

April:

Swim 12:06 33200 Yards
Bike 20:41 368 miles
Run 12:28 95 miles

March:

Swim 13:15 37000 Yards
Bike 21:38 376 miles
Run 14:24 108 miles

First Olympic is May 9th, first 'A' race May 31st (70.3). The way early season races laid out on the schedule, I ended up doing four full weeks of training in March while doing 3 full weeks and one recovery week in April. So even though April looks less, the full weeks more or less contain the same length of workouts.
