Sorry to say I fell a little short of my goal and target for TdF this year. Only got 7 of 10 workouts in and 391 minutes of 720. My feet started to hurt as I was increasing my bike time. I finally got it looked at and a mild case of plantar fasciitis and inflammation of the tendons/ligaments connecting the metatarsals to the cuneiform bones. I was biking on an exercise bike with running shoes, not a great idea, along with being deployed. Not sure if this would account for a reduction in my goal. I got everything done I could this Tour. Maybe next year when I am stateside.

Sorry to hear about the injury issues, and from a fellow Sky teammate don't worry about it. More importantly for me is to say thank you for your service

Stage 9 for 16 miles this evening. I'll knock out the same ride in the morning to put me just over my goal and in Paris.

Stage 10 for 16 miles, which finished out the Tour, and put me at 100% in Paris.

Come on team Sky, Tiffany and I are waiting for the rest of you in Paris.

Lousy weather and crazy work situations have kept me from meeting my ride goal cause I am not getting the bike on the trainer to do 3x15 minute rides just to finish a goal.  I'm on a half marathon training plan so rides are extra these days....First time I deliberately didn't meet a goal.....

Sadly, I crashed out and won't finish.    I'm not badly hurt because it was while running; I'm just bruised and road-rashed.  I had a massage today and am going to take it easy.  Grr.  Sorry, team!

Finished my stages with the bike leg from my race yesterday and the 56 miler I did today.  Pretty happy with how I did on the bike yesterday despite a messed up front shifter.  The derailleur kept slipping to my 39, so I had to hold the shifter up to use my 53 for most of the bike.  On the plus side I averaged 238W and placed 15th overall.

The tour is finished for me, and I came up a little short on making it to Paris.  Finihsed with a 90% on the completion number, I hit the number of stages right on target but fell about 3.5hrs short of the time goal.  I had expected to be short and was hoping to make up some of the time today with an extra ride, but other things got in the way.

I am hoping there is still some riders that need to update the log as Team Sky (booo) has jumped ahead by a few points.

CONGRATULATIONS and thanks for putting on a great Tour for us!

Got whopped with a migraine that couldn't be stopped this weekend, but even with recalculation for 2 sick days, I'm a little short. But like everyone else I did the best I could and HEY not everyone can finish the actual Tour either ... we're all rockstars who enjoyed T.I.T.S. I still got big T.I.T.S. all things considered!

Oui Oui, I'm in Paris! That's supposed to rhyme.. maybe. Anyway, even with dropping down to the 36 mile option of the Hot Hundred I met my goal. And of course, my training partner has now scheduled us for 3 or 4 century rides by mid October... oh my. Anyone up for a Vuelta a Espana challenge? Ha.

I did not make it all the way to Paris. Got my stages in, not the miles. It was going to be a stretch anyway so I am pretty happy with what I did. I can see the sky line of Paris, though. That makes it a little better.

Thanks for running this Tour!

I set a pretty high target (for me), and didn't make it to Paris, but I thoroughly enjoyed the challenge, nevertheless.

Thanks for having me!

Alrighty it's Wednesday.  After everyone put in their times it looks like this race was far more interesting than Le Tour itself!

At the end of the last stage, the winner is Team Sky/Europcar with a lead of .77%!

Good job everyone.  It was a good tour with people facing all kinds of setbacks just like the real tour.

I can change that !! bad time for vacation then life getting in the way.....
Missed out on the 50 miler I was hoping to do in Wisconsin so my mileage goal was short (that and a couple of other missed rides) but did get in the number of stages.

"Fandom" in triathlon compared to other sports. If you're a sports fan and simply love to follow sport, why pick a sport that may offer a view of the start, the finish and a few moments in between?

The boat was being tossed around. Someone noted that there were whitecaps on the waves. Another guy said, “This is going to be challenging.” I began to wonder what he meant by 'challenging'.

Don’t forget this is an incredibly big year for sport with the Olympics back in Athens where the modern Olympics started, and especially triathlon to make its second appearance.
