not a spectacular workout, but I'm calling weeding the garden for 45 minutes this morning a workout. It certainly looks in better shape!

Hot, humid 8 mile run yesterday zapped my energy for the rest of the day.  Ughhh.  But I did find the energy to go to the County Fair with my boyfriend last night.

Today I did 50 min of strength training (20 min upper body dumbbells; 20 min lower body strength; 10 min abs/back).  Then later I did 30 min of yoga.

I also mowed the yard, washed and vacuumed the car, did the grocery shopping, and prepared meals for the week.  Much more productive than yesterday!

Looks like everyone else had a peachy weekend.  Well done!

This morning I biked into work.  So, I am set for today.  Back to work!

It has been POURING rain here the past two days!  I had planned a 6 mile run but swapped it with tomorrow's 3 mile run since i ended up on the treadmill in the garage.  i hope to run outside tomorrow!  i also did my lunch hour core routine.  staying peach!

Bike commuting makes it easy to 'peach' but I do need to get my run volume up - i am starting training for 10k next week.  I have a time goal so i am starting a more aggressive plan.  Hoping to run 30-45 minutes tonight. I was pretty bushed yesterday so hopefully i can get it in after the baby goes to sleep.

I got a bike ol' yellow square yesterday! Erg! I just wasn't motivated enough - not even the peach challenge could keep me going. It's not about being perfect, I know but today I am annoyed with myself!

Already biked in today so i am back on.  Planning to run tonight.  I think i might need to dust off my TM soon. I've been avoiding it. I am so lucky to have one but if I can't make myself go outside then it is a very viable option.

So, how's everyone else doing??

Getting quiet around here! How's it going everyone? Going well? Or losing motivation?

I managed to get to a pool today - first time i've swum in 50m pool. A friend had given me a pass and it was about to expire so it was short but it's a peach i'll take. So, after Wednesday's minor yellow detour I am back on.

I've had those days where nothing could motivate me. Good for you on not letting it become a pattern - simply an anomaly.

I'm still peachy. I usually run 5 or 6 days a week. This challenge has gotten me back into the stair running and the core work tho and I'm grateful for that. Next week, I'm going to try a yoga class that is offered free of charge at my work. I've never done formal yoga but a lot of my stretches are yogaish; I still think I'll be a klutzy buffoon but I need to try it.

Happy monday everyone! Glad to hear I am not the only one using this for overall motivation and making progress!

I had a nice peachy time this weekend and with my coached swim group and my 10k run training plan starting this week i'll be off to a good start!

Though, we go on vacation to visit my DH's family on the east coast later this week. It's gonna be a challenge with driving so much.

Dang, I was ridiculously sore afterwards!! Who would have thunk that something that looks so calming can hurt so bad.

Ok, today I made the decision that I'm going to do planks and crunches at least 5 times a week. Not starting today tho cause I'm barely missing the miserable threshold after my long run today. Tomorrow.

Yoga, Yogahhh, and any other form of such just makes all of me hurt.

On a happier note, I have two peach days in a row. Pitiful, yes, but still an improvement. I'll take it.

Oh, and Robin - I get that your avatar is a flying pig. But WHY is the pig flying? Inquiring minds want to know.

Two days in a row are better than none.

I am the definition of the saying "when pigs fly". Lazy, fat, bad habits then, the pig sprouted wings and flew (sorta like the Wright Brothers first flight) and started running and then did a triathlon. I am still fat, semi lazy and have a few bad habits but I am still flying like that piggie

This morn, I could not pull myself out of bed for an early morn run. So hit the floor for crunches, planks, stretches, and some strength things this evening. Always hard to get started but as soon as I start the process, it feels so great. Well not the crunches and planks; they suck. But I do feel good afterwards.

Good job!

I did better at the last half of the month, largely due to this challenge!

Glad to hear that the challenge helped people.

Definitely not perfect on my end but like others, it helped me do stuff when i probably would have sat on my butt!

The vacation I took for the last week and a half of September really put a wrench in stuff - and why you didn't hear from me!

Great work, everyone!

Now who's in for October??

The boat was being tossed around. Someone noted that there were whitecaps on the waves. Another guy said, “This is going to be challenging.” I began to wonder what he meant by 'challenging'.
