Expert 1394 Wilmington, NC | Subject: RE: What are you racing in 2015?! there is Masters money. $400 for 1st master in the HM. Problem. Some dude ran 72:30 last year. Problem 2. I would be lucky to make it to the bottom of my driveway at the moment.. Add those 2 problems together and I don't think the masters money is within reach. I just checked. the code works for the HM. |

It sells out before January 1st. I'll do 3 Pigs and Pinehurts again. Not sure what else. I am done with longer stuff (except metric centurys). I never got the ironman bug, one was enough for me |

Haha, thanks for stalking my profile! Yes, I did B2B in 2009. And I never felt compelled to do another Ironman after that. The run was just too frikkin painful. My line - that line after which it becomes very difficult to continue - came at mile 7 of the run. That meant I had to suffer through 19 miles of excruciating pain. That sucked. How do you guys do it going back for more pain? |

Going to have to get Newtons or Hoka's, compression socks and also the latest rage the sleeved tri suit. We need to invent an aero run cap maybe. |

Goal 1. Make it to race day Goal 2. Finish with all the pieces of clothing that I start with. Goal 3. If I can hit goals 1 & 2 well then anything else is gravy. |

Can I still excuse my slowness by saying that I went too hard on the bike? d00d, I have started running again but I'm taking it slow (literally). I'm just going to see how things go. Even if I don't do it I'll come hang with you guys. I'd run with you like Bill did with me but there's no way I could keep up. |

I don't know that I can be ready though---just running a lot now and not riding at all. I'll mull though. Always fun to train for the same race with a friend! |

Pretty sure I'm not going to do ANY tris in 2015. Run focus until 2/15, then back in the saddle for a double century with Tour de Cure, then probably run focus again for Tuna Run, then maybe a late season marathon.
Chatt's a nice town, it would be a fun event. |
