Run
Comments: It was a cold run. I opted not to pay for a timing chip (it was $10 cheaper), so I have no idea on a rank or age group place. I ran with my friend Ariane, and we tried to do intervals. They probably averaged 4 min running/2 min walking. Some of the runs were longer, but also some longer walk breaks. The first half of the run is mostly downhill, which means that the second half is mostly uphill. Not so great. All things being equal, this went really well for how little I've been running lately. What would you do differently?: Bring extra socks for after the run. Post race
Warm down: Stop running. BOOM. Cooled down. ;) Seriously, walked around a little. Bought a cup of coffee and a doughnut. Went home What limited your ability to perform faster: Lack of consistent running. Left shin is a bit sore. Last updated: 2014-10-08 12:00 AM

Woke up at 7 am. Was really not ready for getting up and being awake. Checked the weather and saw that it was still raining, but not too hard. Got dressed. Made some coffee and a waffle. Ate, then headed out.
Walked around, picked up race number, and met up with some friends. Mostly tried to keep moving because it was so cold.
