Comments:

Enjoyed this run,,but hills were plentiful!
What would you do differently?:

Think I could have averaged under 8 mm if I had known my splits...
Post race
Warm down:

just walking around -saw a few people I knew- chatted a bit-had water & an orange..then hit the portapotty-(actually had to go the whole race!)ended up hanging out for awards then waited for Max to come in from 25K...

What limited your ability to perform faster:

hills-and ignorance- gotta learn how to use my watch!

Event comments:

Beautiful morning! Nice way to start the day- like the course- had fun ..placed in AG- know could probably have eked out a bit more to win 1st AND to be under 8mm...so , as always, learned something- and had the bonus pleasure of hanging out a bit with sweet Ironman and BT Master Max-IT"S ALL GOOD!

Great race Jo...awesome job.  Placing in running races is tougher because the age groups are 10 years.  You were simply incredible today.  Thanks for being there at the end when I needed a little pick-me-up coming up that last hill.  Despite the cramping I had a great time!

Wow! Fast pace over a longish course! I like your race reports because I usually pick up a couple hints here and there.
