Expert  2852     Pfafftown, NC |  Subject: Road bike help - Narrowing it downCervelo R3 Trek Domane Specialized Roubaix I'm 51. I have a tri bike. I'm looking for something with a relaxed geometry. If there's another one I need to look at, let me know. Also......I have 5800 (105) on my tri bike. It's fine. Would you pay the upcharge to go to Ultegra? The Ultegra bikes can be had in my budget, but I don't want to spend any more than I need to. If you have a road and tri bike, do you use the same type pedals on both? I'm leaning towards the Domane right now........mostly because of wanting to buy it from the local Trek guy that has a great reputation. |

| Subject: RE: Road bike help - Narrowing it down Ultegra is a little better, but it won't be a game changer. If the bike with the Ultegra components has a nicer paint scheme I'd probably go for it. If the 105 frame has a nicer paint job in your opinion, I'd go with that and save a few hundred in the process. |
