Good morning BT!

4:15am:  1:10 on the trainer, high Z2 work

5:30am:  :45 lower body strength stuff

Apparently the northern Nevada desert decided to skip the 80s completely as we've been high 90s-100s the last few days!  Good thing I love the heat!  One more day to go and I can be outside all day, every day for the next three months!

Have a great day!

We also have one more day (just a teacher work day till 1 or 2 PM) till summer break here! Feeling a little under the weather today (think it was something I ate yesterday, which affected sleep as well as stomach) so the end-of-year drama was really a uphill slog today.

AM: Easy one-hour run. (Supposed to be fartlek, but easy was all I could manage.)
PM: Feeling a bit better once I got home; 30 minutes of lower body and core strength stuff.

We had the same experience here in north Texas, Kim. We had an absolutely beautiful spring (well, significant rain excepting), and now it's just hot hot hot.

I had the option to ride on my trainer or on the road. I'm taking the road, so no early morning workout today. Looking forward to being outside, even if it's hot as heck after work.

Oh my! Where did the week go?  I thought it was Wednesday today until I saw this.  Now I have to run home and get my wetsuit as I had planned an OWS for Thursday after work.

I don't even want to talk about the temps here in Phoenix right now. At least we are catching a bit of a break compared to the end of last week Got a little later start than normal today.

6:00 am 13 mile bike ride
6:00 pm 35 minutes strength/agility training
8:00pm 30 minute run

Well it looked like it was going to rain most of the day here, and it did a little.

So I stayed indoors today, even though I probably could have gotten an hour ride or run in. In addition to my morning 2 minute plank, I did my 8 minute boot camp video. Then after the Mrs. got home, I headed out to the pool. I had the best workout there I've had since high school or college. I did a hilltop workout on 100 yard increments (except the 400), so it went 100 200 300 450 500 450 300 200 100 with a minute or two rest between steps. I did the 450s instead of 400s because the tri I am doing next month is a 400 meter swim, so I figured a 450 yard swim would be close enough.

So it ended up being a 2600 yard workout in about an hour, and I felt good afterward.

Have a great evening,

J White

I'm on the other side of the college-student desk. I'm the one with the red pen in my hand. Those of us with schedules that change from day to day actually have an advantage, I think.
