Lots of us made it last month! Let's do it again this month! I have a 70.3 race on October 1 so I should be able to make it again.

Who's in?

I'm in.  Going to need some motivation to really push it this month.  Finished August with 224.44 miles.  I want to hit 250 for this month.  Training for a 50 miler that I want to get sub 8:00.

I thought August was intense, I felt all that I did was run, eat, run, work, eat, poop and every now and then sleep.

I'm in again for another month of fun.

20.32 miles as of today.

I am planning on doing a 100 miler next may. I can't imagine the monthly mileage required. Good luck on your race.

Hope everyone had a great Holiday weekend.  I'm at 40.5 miles excluding tonight's run.  Had a wedding this weekend so it took a bit out of the training but got in a 16.5 on Saturday and a 18.5 on Sunday.  Monday is a rest day, so looking in decent shape.  Have to see where I do tonights run.  It's supposed to be heavy rain, and I'm getting sick of the rain.  Have a few pair of shoes and they are all starting to smell pretty bad!  Might just run it on the treadmill.  Have a 10-12 miler planned.

OMG, I bow before you guys. A 50 miler planned and a 100 miler? That is awesome!

I'll join the group this time although I don't know if I'll make it. Labor Day weekend was supposed to be a long weekend to get two long runs in but Hurricane Hermine screwed that for me. While we were extremely blessed during the hurricane, others around us were not as fortunate. Now, I'm still running scared in the dark because, while the debris has been mostly removed and the power lines are no longer across the road, we will still be having more issues in the coming months because many of the trees that were left standing are leaning, leaning, leaning and will come down soon. 38.5 miles thus far.

Welcome back Pink Socks! I'm glad you survived the hurricane, whew!

My feet hurt after today's long run in the scorching heat, hehe. 47.6 miles in so far and still healthy.

Glad that you are safe though.  Hopefully the recovery effort goes as smoothly as possible.

I've been slacking, I didn't do my B2B long runs this weekend.  I just wasn't feeling it on Sunday.  At 86.82 miles.

Have a marathon in two weeks!

Looks like everyone is off to a strong start. Pink Socks--glad you are back. I hope all is back to normal!

I am at 60 miles--I had a recovery week, which was skewed by me doing 19 miles on Labor day and then skipping my Saturday run. I need to get back to it!

Taper?  It's just a marathon   But in all honesty no there won't be much of a taper.  I'm using it as a training run, not a race.  I just wanted to get another state checked off the list.

At 96.8 miles.

Hardcore runner! Halfway through September and already close to beating the challenge. Nice!!!

I'm at 58.66 miles. With all the biking and swimming as well, I'm feeling the need to start a recovery week.

Just a marathon?!!!! Bwwwaaaaaa. You are a total bad azz.

My hubby just brought up the Keys 100 race. They have the 100 mile, 50 mile, and 50K. It's on our anniversary and the Keys is one of our fav't places. We are thinking about the 50 miler although I swore I would never do 50 miles. If we pull the trigger, will have to ask you about training plans.

64.5 miles for me. I was supposed to go longer today (or faster) but we removed carpet last night and I can barely move my right arm (removing carpet strips with hammer and crowbar). Strange how your running is affected when you are having arm problems. I found it impossible to power up the hills without arm pumping action.

Howdy! I had a rough work week (seasonality) and my wife wanted to paint this weekend. So, I missed quite a bit of my workouts this week. I am at 93 miles for the month.

Lol thanks, but I haven't really done any biking, and no swimming.  I actually took my bike out instead of a run yesterday.  I needed to mix it up.  I'm behind where I should be to hit 250 miles but that's okay.  I'm feeling a bit burnt out and want to cull it in before it really becomes a problem.  I still should hit 200 miles, I hope.  Sitting at 130.6 right now.

I think the 50 miler in the Keys would be awesome.  I drove down to Key West a few years ago, it was my first time in the Keys and they were beautiful.  It would be hot though!  I'd be happy to help with what I learned and my training plan.

79.73 miles in.

I'm tapering down for Las Vegas 70.3 in Boulder City hosted by BBSC Endurance Sports on October 1 so I'm not certain I will make it to 100 but I'm gonna get close!

Excellent -- taper is much more important that these challenges. I am at 130--but have missed a lot of runs these last two weeks. (family stuff + work).

109.30 miles as of today. The taper is slowly winding down to Ironman Louisville in 2 weeks. I also hit 1008.22 miles for the year.

I think quite truly for the first time I 'get it'. It's not just about the fitness. It's not just about the great little endorphin rush as you hit 5, 10, 15 miles...its not just the medal at the end.
