Congratulations to all those who joined last month's challenge! I made it myself but still got my butt wooped by everyone, hehehe.

November is here now and I'm gonna continue challenging myself. Who's still obsessed about running and would like to join me?

I'd still love to see your posts every now and then Pam. I'm excited for you and your upcoming marathon.

Looks like I'm the only one challenging myself this month, hehehe!

Had a pretty solid 12 mile LSD run this morning, boy did my feet feel tired after. 31.52 miles in so far.

Almost 58 miles in for the month. Learned I have some minor tendinitis in my right foot so wrapped some tape around it to help it heal.

Thought I'd check in and see how you are doing. So sorry about the foot! Is this the same one that you had problems with a few months ago? Be careful.

Marathon was last week. Gorgeous day and I enjoyed the race very much although I knew my body was too beat-up from the remodeling. First time I've done the death march for the last miles but it is what it is. Wasn't quite a personal worst time for me but it was close. But loved the race, loved the day. Will not be doing much running over the next 2 weeks because the sheetrock guys have finished so I'll be painting ceilings and walls.

Keep up the good work! But please be careful with the foot.

Howdy! I hope all if going well with our team! I had to pull out of my ultra. My training was going about as well as it could go through most of October. I had to adjust to deal with some family things. I hope to get back out there very soon. I hope you guys have a happy thanksgiving!

Ugh.... sorry to hear how the last miles of your marathon went Pam. I'm glad you made it through tough and enjoyed the experience despite how you were feeling. I felt like that during my first marathon a couple years ago due to going out too hard.

My foot is better now. Sitting on almost 82 miles for the month. I went on a road trip to Sedona, the Grand Canyon, and IMAZ to volunteer and had a great time (minus the driving, hehe). Made some adjustments to my running but aiming to get back on schedule here on out to Surf City.

Awwwman! I wanted to see how your ultra went. With all that training, maybe you can sign up for Surf City!

Sorry you had to pull out of the ultra but family is more important. Hope all is going well for you now.

Wow, Roland, great job!!!!

I've done very, very little running, walking, or general stretches since the marathon. After our ceilings were scrapped and other rooms were remodeled, I've spent the last few weeks priming everything and painting the ceilings. Thankfully most of that is done now so I need to get back to exercising for general health.

Keep up the good work, guys!

I made it, but barely. 103.9 miles.

December should be a big month. I am prepping for the Dopey Challenge in early January.

Thanks Pam! You deserve the rest and easy workouts now. Did you make it to 1000 miles for 2016 already?

I think quite truly for the first time I 'get it'. It's not just about the fitness. It's not just about the great little endorphin rush as you hit 5, 10, 15 miles...its not just the medal at the end.
