Sunday Fun Day

Recovery day after St. George yesterday. Not feeling too bad this morning after the race, despite some drinking last night here in Vegas as we work our way back home. ??. Have a great Sunday everyone !!

Looks like Kim finished St. George though her time was over the usual cut-off--wonder what was going on there? Hope she is okay.

Loads of Sunday fun here--had a 3:15 hour ride planned and was thinking of doing some of it outside, but woke up to ominous-looking dark clouds (rainy season trying very hard to start here). Ended up doing it on the trainer watching videos of scenic rides in France and Spain (my usual weekday trainer fare). Heavy rain never actually materialized, but it kept drizzling much of the day and was mercifully "cool" (by this I mean heat index under 90) for the 25-minute brick run after.

Big training week after a crazy last week with moving house (well, apartment!)--I am really ready for bed now!

Can't wait to hear about Kim's race.I'm up in NY visiting family so I had a lovely 45 min run to the bay and ran along the water for a while. Leaving at midnight for Asia and can't wait to go on exploration runs while I'm there. Happy Sunday everyone

Rode my bike 6.33 miles to the race. Ran a 1:27:50 half marathon (first in my age group (45-49) 1/70, and 18th overall 18/1215). Then rode my bike 6.37 miles home after the race. Now I am just sitting back and relaxing. 5 weeks until IM Boulder.
