Subject: RE: 6.3.17 Sunny Saturday! 1:50 run with 4 X 9 minutes at tempo effort with 3 minute "recoveries". Doesn't sound that bad on paper, I guess, but add in our heat and humidity.... I started at 6 AM, which was about half an hour later than I wanted to start (Internet fail, puking cat.... ) and it was just a complete sufferfest. My legs were toast for the rest of the day, and ended up taking a nap at one point!
Also got in an easy 1200m of swimming. My legs still felt trashed, but at least it was nice and cool. (They seem to have finally gotten our school pool to stay at an agreeable temperature, now that the year is almost over. (Over the past two years, it has sometimes been so cold I've had to wear a mini-wetsuit and kids' classes were cancelled, and so hot it triggered vicious migraines when I did hard workouts. )
