Subject: 2.5.18 Monday Morning!

Good morning BT!

4:45am:  :35 spin on the trainer followed up with some stretching

What a great game last night!  For the first time ever I think I actually enjoyed the game more than the commercials...they were OK at best. 

This is a self imposed recovery week since I'll be at a conference from Wed-Sun.  I think my legs could use a bit of a break.

Week 6 Day 1 Half Marathon program:  5 Min warmup, 7x 4 min run/2 min walk, 5 min cooldown.

First addition of strength training, 3 reps of each Dumbbell Shoulder Press, Dumbbell Bicep Curl, Dips, Dumbbell Row, Shoulder Dips

2 PM-ish--31:06 of running in the park across the street. Unless I get inspired to hop on the trainer (will do if weather is bad or Mom not up to walking), that's probably going to be the norm for a while, until I get back to Vietnam.

We were going to watch the game last night but for some reason could not find it on our cable. (???)

Monday was a tough day. Got some strength training with deadlifts and accessory back exercises followed by abs.

35 minute on the trainer with 10, 1 minute intervals. Didn’t have much power in the legs this evening.
