Subject: Update Issues?

I believe the recent update is messing with a few items. last night I kept seeing the "Oops, something has gone wrong" error when reading inspires from the notification button. I didn't grab screen shots, but will get them when I see it again. I did get a screen shot of the blog editor, which is missing the icons in it. Also attached is the version of Chrome that I am currently on.

still not uploading my strava ride using my garmin which is supposed to sync with strava/garmin and BT. I also have Tapiriik, a paid service to sync these, and BT is the only one not working. Unless there is a very prolonged delay on the order of many hours...

Tapiriik should not have been affected by the HTTPS update, they were already on the new channel. I see some Tapiriik activity earlier this morning.

There have been reports from a couple other users of intermittent issues with Strava/RK/Garmin/BT, but it's difficult to narrow down what's going on. Which service do you use to upload your workouts, and does it synchronize to all of the others, or just some?

I rode my trainer today for 4 bike workouts on zwift (included 2 races) using my Garmin PT embedded in my wheel and logging onto zwift. It has downloaded the workouts to Strava and Garmin but not BT, which is where my log is (for the time being...)

Hi Dale,

I also have Garmin hooked up to BT. It works correctly when I sync the workout from my watch. But when I use any service that automatically pushes to Garmin (Zwift, for example), the workout shows up in Garmin Connect, but not in BT.

I will see what we can do.

This has been happening to me for months - Garmin-recorded (like on my 920 watch) data sent to GC automatically comes here, Zwift/TrainerRoad/Sufferfest goes to GC, Training Peaks, and Strava but doesn't come here.  I don't use the 3rd party service, just whatever you guys do.

I've been manually uploading everything.

Has it ever worked? I only started using Zwift this past December and it has never pushed the workout through to BT. Just wondering if it used to work and then stopped, or never worked. That will help solve the problem.

It did not work for me and I got tired of manually doing it which is why I bought Tapiriik. I could get it to go now and then by reinstalling the Garmin communicator or updating my preferences here at BT, but I'm a doctor and I don't have time for that crap.

I still love the training log and try to gander at the forum, although less lately. I'll always have a soft spot for BT since it was the IM forum which has generated the most learning and love of triathlon for me. I have friendships to this day including people who I've met here at BT and since passed on, like Steve. (I still miss him...)

Keep working Alice. You can do it.

Just to be clear, those of you in this thread using Zwift and uploading to GC, are you using Tapiriik or BT's Garmin Connect integration?

I have both and have permissions for all those sites to communicate with each other, so if I do a Zwift workout using my Garmin/w PM embedded in my wheel, it will upload to Zwift>push to Strave and Garmin connect and it's supposed to go to BT, but doesn't. If I do a run with my garmin or bike outside with my garmin, it uploads to Garmin connect and pushes to Strava (I am a premium member but that is not needed for this) and GC and USED to upload to BT directly, but now does not. This is new since your update recently.

With regards to Tapiriik, please let me know the results of your next synchronization.

I believe we have identified the cause of the error and your unsynchronized workouts should come over in the next run, if everything is correct.

The questions about the Garmin Connect & Zwift are next on the list of things to investigate.

Also be sure that the entry doesn't say "Paused" at Tapiriik. It should ready Connected. You may need to click "Reconfigure" if it says 'paused'. And that all services are configured to send to each other

so, I ran today and uploaded to Garmin using Express and it DID come over to BT (and FTR uploaded to Strava and loaded to Garmin's website in my activity file). I rode on Zwift and it did not come over to BT but DID go to Strava. I then pulled out the ant stick, loaded Garmin Express again and forced a sync directly with Garmin and THAT data went to BT and loaded the ride workout with the numbers from my Garmin 910, not the Zwift numbers (as you know they are different).

But, bottom line was that GC did talk to BT. Zwift and Strava do not.

*And I know about being 'connected' vs 'paused on Tapiriik'. I'm connected. I even forced reconfiguration to BT-but nothing syncs to BT from Zwift.
