6 miles on the TreadMill in Milwaukee...Yup, it's as fun as it sounds.

Hopefully the rest of the day goes smooth and I catch my flight out of Chicago without any issues.

I am 4 weeks out from starting the 18 week program which will lead up to Eagleman 70.3 Trying to focus on building bike base and getting back my water comfort. Running has been taking a hit.

I did a 6-1/2 mile run with Hill repeats this morning.  I am not a sprinter and it always surprises me have slow my top speed is.  That top speed feeling even slow on my 10% grade hill that I do my repeats on. 

I haven't been in the water since my last Triathlon in September.  I will get back in the pool in a week or two.  The cycling and the running are solid though.  I have a bike FTP test tomorrow we will see where I start out at for 2020.  I am guessing it will be 30-40 Watts higher than where I started out in 2019.

Easy 4.5 miles run for me. Most of the snow has melted here in K.C. and it was 43 deg F so shorts were in play. Sunday's run was at 23 degrees on packed snow and ice. Gotta love the midwest!

Converting to Fahrenheit: It's currently only -10 F (-24C) here but supposed to go below -23 F (-31C) this evening. The wind chill factor makes it feel much colder though. Happy to train inside this week.

Edit to add: But I'm in one of the warmer parts of Alberta.

I got rained out of my swim this morning so I hopped on the indoor trainer for a 45 minute workout with an extra 5 minutes of warm up. I have found in the last year that an extra 5 minutes of warm up on the bike makes me a much happier person when the first interval comes up.

4.25 mile treadmill run. Did some play with the incline to keep it interesting.

Did some deadlifts and core work after my run.
