Comments: This is so much fun! I did it! What would you do differently?: Don't underestimate myself. I trained for this! Post race
Warm down: Light stretching. Chugged some water and got some food. They were serving Qdoba!!! What limited your ability to perform faster: 25 miles of running Event comments: Things I learned today: 1. Fleece-lined tights are the world's greatest invention (next to the iPod) 2. When in doubt, take Ibuprofen. 3. I shouldn't let people get into my head, especially the day before a race. 4. "The Wall" at mile 18 really does exist. Luckily I was able to aviod it. 5. They give you those plastic bags to wear for a reason. Don't throw it away. 6. Ending a 26.2 mile run with a 1-mile up-hill sprint sucks. 7. Finishing a 26.2 mile run is the best feeling in the world! Last updated: 2006-04-29 12:00 AM

Woke up at 6am. Made breakfast (oatmeal with splenda and milk), packed up the gear, and headed toward the race. I tried to find Jennifer before the race started but it didn't happen. The gun went off so I left without her.
None...Its 26 miles. The warm-up is pretty much built in.
