I registered for a sprint, but haven't received any confirmation, the website is not updated as far as the sprint swim/bike course - maybe they will do it later. I would be interested to meet you guys.

I did this tri some time ago a ton of people wore wetsuits. There is seaweed in the lake so if you don't mind that you should be fine.

I don't know if they will use the same bike course but it wasn't to bad. Just some rolling hills.

Just went today out to the lake.... I don't think that it needs a wet suit but that could just be me... also i thought that the Olympic run course was very confusing. The bike course was quite hilly. Overall i think it will be quite a fun course.

Quick question for anyone from the area. Is it possible to head over there on a Sunday morning and get a decent OWS in? I'm wondering if there are a lot of people in the water, which part of the lake to go to, etc etc. I'm thinking about possibly going there early tomorrow but not sure yet. I appreciate any info. Thanks.

NICE!!

You know, out at the 1/ IM this weekend in Racine, I had a cowbell that I was ringing, and all I kept wanting to yell out, instead of "Good Job, Keep it Up," was,

"I got a feva, and the only prescription, is more cowbell!!"

WOO HOO!!

Well Lake Zurich would welcome you. my running club does to panara in deerpark after our runs so if people want to met there after the tri we could do that.

of course I just realise my club has a club only race that day and if no one wants to met I can go to there after party . Hey how often do you get a chance to met other bters outside of july and august?

got 7th overall in the sprint thought that was good. After about 10 mins on the bike the weather finally got better so that was good. Thought the race was run well and i liked the cones in the road because it gave u a good understanding of where you were going. Met a couple cool people too!

( i was the red head that won the swim if anyone saw me)

Congratulations to all the Lake Zurich participants! We got off to a wet start but it was fun! This was my first triathlon and I had a blast! I finished in 1 hr and 19 minutes. Way better then I thought!

I know I saw photographers at the race, anyone know where the shots can be found? I'd like relive how wet and muddy it really was.
