Being in Connecticut and not able to see the course in person, any thoughts about the layout?  I'm trying for a PR and was hoping that the course who be as flat as described, but my recollection of Atlanta makes me think, it might be hilly.

I have run the course several times in the last few weeks. .

Course does roll. . W/in the first couple three miles you might find yourself working hard to keep a pace. Having said that, once you get past Lullwater/Oakdale/Springdale loops, it eases up a little. In the aggregate, very few flat sections, no hills that are super steep, just rolling terrain almost the whole race.

One small bit of inside info is that Lullwater, which comes at the 13mi point, seems to go on forever, almost all uphill. If you are still on track for a PR at that point, you might be good to go.

Good Luck - I developed tedonitis or ligament damage in a foot this week and missed my last long run today. It hurts. I'll be at the start line no matter what but my own hope for a pr. . well, I just don't know.

Can't add much more to AllTom's note. No huge hills, but not much flat ground either. At least there's as much going down as going up. Good luck.
