I love my truck.  It's an 01 Dakota RC with a Hotchkis racing suspension, so it sits about 2" lower to the ground.  Not enough to look rice, but enough to fill the wheel wells and give a mean stance.  I also reprogrammed the ECU, so it can get up and go when it want's to.  It's a 5 speed to boot.

The other nice thing is that engines in the gen 3's were all based on the mopar short block, so it takes (relatively) very little work to swap out the engine for a 400 hp monster, but that will have to wait until I'm out of school and have a job.

haygosl - 2007-03-20 5:18 PM ME! although mine is a lot dirtier and has a roof rack now.

Great choice.  Absolutely smart-looking

Although mine isn't the "S".  I have the blue color, too.

I think the FJ is one of the coolest new vehicles. It is not practical for me, but I love it none the less. I would love to have one just for a tri vehicle and adventure races, but I have a work truck (F350 4X4) for that.

The vehicle I love:

My 2006 Porsche Carrera S Cabriolet.

Check out my album.

Oh, my daily driver is a 2006 Toyota Avalon, in keeping with teh Toyota theme.

I love my Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited. I will not own anything else. She has a 6-disc CD player, a DVD player with wireless headphones, bluetoothe (I didnt activate it), heated seats, all leather....

Below is a picture but she is more purdy now.. she now wears a chrome bug deflector and mud flaps.

She will soon be equipped with a hitch-receiver and a bike rack

Nice parking job--I think I screamed at you the last time I was in State College...

I have a Toyota Solara convertible and I **LOVE** it. I can't imagine a car with a non-removable roof. Never again! Kiss

Here we are... me, Rita Gaspar (my car has a first and last name, of course) and my friend Whitney, last summer.

<---- I love my litte car. It's quick and can handle the twisties like nobody's business. It has
<---- a 15% reduced supercharger pulley, progressive rate lowering springs and a 22mm rear
<---- anti sway bar. Next on the list is body colored cladding and 15' lightweight wheels.

Which mountains are you hauling azz over? I've heard about chipped diesel trucks but never had a ride in one. I'd trade a ride with you in the truck for a ride in my car It's just a little Audi 6 cylinder with an extra 300 hp over stock form. It's a little like a blue tornado going by...

Ligenfelter 383 Corvette with Z51 suspension package.  Only thing I don't like about it is the Bose stereo system.

And yes, it's red.

While I wish I had a Honda Element, I love my 93 white Camry!  180,000 miles, and no maintanence besides the basics (oil, filter, wipers, tires, cleaning, timing belt etc.) + 1 engine mount!  ((Knock on wood nothing goes wrong)).  Plan on having it for at least 2 more years!!!

I love my Matrix.  However, my bike won't fit in it unless I put the back seat down and lay the bike down.  This makes transporting the other 3 family members hard.  I made the mistake of not getting a roof rack.   When I took the Matrix in for service, I was looking at the cars on the lot.   I was looking at minivans and of course the RAV-4.  I was wondering how the RAV4 compares to the Honda CRV....   I seriously might trade it in.  Do you put your bike in the back with front wheel off?

My bike is small enough that I can haul it in my Cr-V without taking off the wheel.  Not sure about larger bikes.  I have to put my seats down also - though I'm sure if I took the front wheel off I could haul my bike sideways in the back compartment with the seats up.  Whatever the case, I rarely drive my car with the seats up anyways, because I tend to use my CR-V more like a pick-up truck.   Not sure about comparisons between the RAV4 and CRV, and I can attest to the fact that there are many days when I wish I had a V-6, which is not available on the CRV.  However, when I fill-up the gas tank I pat myself on the back for owning a 4 cylinder.

My 2000 Saab 9-5 wagon is awesome. Plenty of room, comfortable as all get out, drives amazingly. Plus, I get 25mpg out of the V-6 turbo.

My bike fits in my RAV with only the "40" portion of the 60/40 rear seat down, don't have to remove the front wheel. Could not fit my bike in the CRV like that because of the way their rear seat folds up. The CRV also moved their spare inside the vehicle, sacrificing a lot of storage room that the RAV4 retained.

RAV4 has an optional V6, adds ~100HP but only sacrifices 1-2mpg. Costs about $2500, I think, and my 4 cylinder has enough get-up-and-go for me.

My car:  2003 Mini Cooper S.  Fun car.   Most fun since I drove an Alfa Romeo Spider.  I take both wheels off to haul the bike inside it.

My truck:  1996 Ford F150 4WD.   Great truck.  Holds about 10 bikes.

I never KNEW I could love a vehicle so much.  I only thought I loved what I had before, but now I am completely in love because my life right now is all about fun, so if I were a vehicle, this is what I'd be:

I'm on my 3rd or 4th Grand Cherokee, like sweetK's but black with a Hemi.  Gas mileage is shat but otherwise it's the bomb.  HOOK UP THE BLUETOOTH!!!...it is awesome!  My cell phone is in my briefcase and I'm chattin' away and paying more attention to the road at the same time.

Best picture I have is with the bike in front of it...
