Pre-race routine:

Woke up... ran around looking for all my stuff, got everything together and headed on out the door
Event warmup:

walking around BSing and changing a flat tire for another racer after i gave him my only tube.

nice course start was good and i was near the front of the pack, rounding the first bouy was good but then i was swimming ALONE..... it seems like everyone else was at least 50 yars to my left and i was worryed that i missed something but nope they just wanted to add more swim i guess

WALK walk walk.... it was pretty much a 3 mile walk for me, gave a way a jel because someone had bad cramps and it helped him......

ooops! I actually do have something to say

SOOOOO Did you beat the relay?? Yes, you totally get good mojo points for changing tires and supplying gels (too bad you couldn't GET RID of the stuff at an actual aid station at Mooseman! ha ha ha)

Ya i guess i screwed it up time was 2 hours 6 min and 48 seconds..

Nope i didn't beat the relay but it took them half way on the run to catch up..if i could have run in steady of walked it i would have smoked them....

food... oh you really don't want to know...



at 5:30 am on of those yummy sausage mcgriddles and a small coffee, just be for the race a gel

Oh BTW, get used to those crappy cotton t-shirts.  From what I've seen, Endorfun is one of the few race companies that give out the nice tech tees.

You wanted to nail the swim and you sure did! 

You should include your other times as well in your RR...you can edit it you know.

It was fun to meet you this weekend and have dinner with you. You are so kind to come up and volunteer at the aid station.....great way to learn about tri'ing, no?

Awesome first tri...Congrats on being a Triathlete!
