It was easily the best movie I've seen in awhile. Of course that's the 8-year-old in me but really, it was excellent! OP is the shizzle.

(((( spolier alert ))))

I think the movie is a little long. A little blurry. I like to see more robot, fewer humans.

OP RULEZ!!!!

SPOILERS...

Bumblebee's m' boy.  I liked a lot of the subtle nods towards the old cartoon (i.e. the VW Bug next to the Camaro in the used car lot).  I was pissed that Jazz went out like such a punk though.

I was disappointed by the final battle scene. Everything was kind of blurry. Some people even speculated that it was Starscream who shot Megatron. Yeah, poor Jazz. Why does he have to go? Darn Frenzy got his head ripped off and didn't die. like the scene in which Megatron flicked a human off with his fingers. Heh heh. Bumblebee was great. I thought they would cast a younger sounding voice actor for his part.

Will have more after seeing it again Sunday.

We could never afford transformers.   I wonder when they will make a go-bots movie for poor kids like me.

Took my 6yo to see it on Wednesday, and we both loved it. The theatre was so packed though, that we ended up sitting in the second row, where you had to turn your head from side to side to see the whole screen. Even like that though, it was just incredible. He asked if we could go see it again soon when we could get some good seats.

Suprisingly, it didn't do too well in the ratings. But considering it's a movie about toys from the 80's, I thought they did a fantastic job. Even the voices sounded like the old cartoons!!!

One of my most enjoyable movies of the summer, by far!

Sharp ears you have!! M Bay brought back Peter Cullen, the guy who did the voice for Optimus Prime in the old cartoon for the new movie!! Unfortunately, the guy who did the voice for old Megatron didn't make the cut. M Bay said his voice aged too much. Besides, the new Megatron looks nothing like the old one. Eventually they cast HUGO WEAVING (!!) as new Megatron.

I wasn't a huge fan of the cartoon like you boys were. But I got the Soundwave toy and his cassette tape buddies The movie I rented didn't feel like a movie. It was like a really long TV show. I mean, consider the sole purpose of the movie was to kill off the Gen 1 characters so that Hasbro can flood the shelves with new ones, I shouldn't expect too much. The art work was pretty good for its time though.

What's funny is that the guy who did the original Megatron voice IS doing the voice for Megatron for the video game. Seems crazy but it's true.

Yes, the guy who did the voice for Megatron way back when is doing the voice for Megatron in video game!

Hugo Weaving didn't sound like him at all. His voice was heavily altered in the movie! Otherwise he would go "Mis-ter An-der-son..."

I found a film review podcast on Slate. Super funny. (Loaded with spoilers!)

Transformers was AWESOME!! I think we are going back this weekend! I love that they used Peter Cullens voice (original Optimus Prime). It was awesome! It actually had a good story lines, not just a bunch of special effects!

    Go Autobots!

Took my son to see it. According to him bits and pieces were over dialogged. He communicated this by telling me "Daddy I'm boring". When the violence resumed however, he was fully engaged again. BTW Megan Fox == HOT++
