Powerbar Gel is the only one I can stomach.  All of the others have a nasty consistency that doesnt sit well with me, plus they have less calories and not nearly as much sodium.

Carb Boom is the only 1 can barely stomach, and usually I mix it up with water.
Have taken to eating Snickers Marathon Bars if possible instead of gels.

Hammer Gel diluted with 2 parts water in a little flask. I like the raspberry, orange and vanilla flavors.

Whatever you like and likes you back.   Try a few brands and flavors and see what agrees with you.  Then find a good deal on a case.

I use Gu and Clif - Clif, because not as many of the flavors contain caffeine. I have two Hammer gels floating around from my tri and the clinic for the tri, though I have yet to test them out.

Accel Gel- Strawberry/Kiwi.

The consistency is thinner than Gu or the other gels, so it's easier to swallow. I also like the fact that it has protein in it. As a vegetarian I need all the protein I can get!

Powergel. Consistency is good - nice and thin. Plus they have 200mg of Sodium, compared to most gels that have 50mg. When I need 600mg per hour running, that's 3 less salt pills I have to take.

Love Gu ... and not just because of the sponsorship deal I got either.  I can just stomach them the best.

Carboom gels - but I also like the Cliff Shot Blocks.  Oddly enough the Cliff gels don't work as well for me though.

They're all the same to me. I don't have any GI problems with any of them. Hammer Gels seem to taste the best, and I like that they have more natural ingredients than some others.

I've only tried a select few, but the one to which I am faithful is vanilla powergel for the reasons mentioned above. I'm not a very salty sweater so I don't care so much about the sodium, I just really like the consistency. I tried a red tropical hammer gel the other day and almost threw up. I can't stand it when gels are thick. A lot of chocolate flavored gels are thick too but at least they taste okay.

I voted for Gu, but only because there was no selection for my actual favorite:

I've tried gels from RoadRunner sports, and they were OK, and I tried a couple Clif gels, but didn't care for them. Gu seems the most stomachable. (Is that even a word?)

Powergel, especially the Tangerine or Raspberry Cream.

For those that commented about the consistency being too thick: the new Powergel ( I believe it has the number "2" and something about Step 2 ) is much less thick and goes down much easier. The chocolate was especially bad about being too thick. My half mary I had that stuff and I was ready to go "gel-less" by the end of the race.
