  • Comments: This is probably one of the best races (for the money) I have done. It is a smaller race, but very well run/organized/supported. I drive 10 hours to do it (KC to Wausau) so I hope it is good. I also have a good group of guys to hang out with before and after the race. What other race lets you bring a cooler full of beer into transition?????

  • Comments: I prefer sprints where you can just go all out but this was a very nice race and plan on doing it many more times.

  • Comments: Was a beautiful area for a race. Had lots of volunteers to help with direction, water, etc. Amazingly, they had no chip timing so had people taking the times. I haven't ever been in a triathlon without chip timing. Total race time was right around 3 hours, perhaps slightly less. All in all I didn't suck, am not that tired, and wasn't last so I am happy.

  • Comments: 200 volunteers, great help out there. I had to leave right away, i would have stayed for food and massage.
