  • Comments: Course was very pretty and set up well. Volunteers were friendly. Great announcers. My dad had a lot of fun as a spectator. But they needed more drinks, both during and after the race. Oh and also more port-a-potties. I waited on line for one for at least 15 minutes.

  • Comments: In spite of my own performance, I really enjoyed this race. It is well organized, the race site is very pretty, the swag is decent and my wife got a huge kick out of the announcer calling out racer names like we were at an Ironman race. It is a race I will defintely do again!

  • Comments: I LOVE THIS RACE. The Webb Institute is a georgeous campus. The post-race breakfast of eggs, sausage and hashbrowns can't be beat. All the racers and volunteers are awesome. It's hosted by my Tri Team: Sunrise Tri. And the fact that I stood on an actual Podium for the first time in my Life at this race makes it that much sweeter. I'll stop gushing now. :)

  • Comments: Great race. Excellent organization. Beautiful course. Fellow competitors are very friendly and encouraging. I recommend this race to everyone I know that does triathlons - beginners and experienced veterans.

  • Comments: The site is beautiful. The race is well organized. They did forget to put a race cap in my race packet. I should have checked it before I left, but since this was my first time, I wasn't sure if that was normal.

  • Comments: Even with my empty training logs lately, I killed last year's time by 13 minutes! That is F$%#ed up. I love this race and will come back for #3 next year. Top 5 finish (AG of course!)

  • Comments: The Ironclad campus is georgeous; the water was a perfect temp; the course is extremely well mapped. No question I will be back next year to claim my rightful spot on the AG PODIUM!!! :)

  • Comments: Too emotionally tied to the venue for alot of comment, but the swim was good, the water is alot cleaner than it used to be, the bike needs alittle massaging to be good, some trfic control conesand some officiating. Thr run is good if you like trail running.

  • Comments: Great race to start the season, they cap the entrants at 200 so it is nice. I really wasn't a fan of the trail run and cold water but I will probably do the race again next year.

  • Comments: Overall a great day, race was organized and well managed. Finisher medals to every participant. Great breakfast buffet for all the athletes. I will definitely race it again next year.

  • Comments: This was the inuagural event organized but college kids and they did an awesome job! The RD actually raced and took 1st in his AG. If this years registrants had priority on next year's race, there would be very few spots available. I will definitely be back next year, but sign up early this one should fill up fast (only 200 spots). They even gave finisher's medals to everyone!! Just re-connecting with a Good friend from college was worth the day, everything else I'll improve. I have to keep reminding myself where I was only 7 mos ago and how I was treating myu body. Now I AM triathlete!
