  • Comments: Beautiful course, fun bar afterwards. Had fun wearing a costume this year! Didn't notice any porta potties out there--luckily never needed one. Love the beer station at mile 9!

  • Comments: Fun race. Very relaxed atmosphere. Ale house food looked awsome, next time I'm staying for a burger with that great beer.

  • Comments: Truth be told, this is a pretty Spartan race but it finishes at the Ale House, which provides free beer for all racers and that makes up for a lot. :)

  • Comments: Badger Strider events are usually pretty bare-bones, but this one really does itself a service by teaming up with the Ale House for a great post-race event.

  • Comments: Great race...really FUN course and fun time. Someday, I hope to do it in nice weather! Also REALLY like the 15K distance. A LOT!! My current fitness is probably somewhere right in the 15K sweet spot. I'd love to be able to approach a Half Mary with the same mindset (able to push throughout without fear of epic fail.).

  • Comments: Could use better timing chips, as I think official time is about 20 seconds off of actual race time. Still very pleased with this. If you ever have an opportunity to get paced by an amazing athlete who really knows how to motivate I suggest you do it.

  • Comments: Would have been good post - race if we could have gotten in the ale house. Could have used a few more water stops. Although I did learn from running with Jim the value of actually slowing down at the water station. Spilled a lot less and felt more hydrated. Might try that at Tyrannea I really had a great time. Thanks Jim for letting me run with you. For me the run was very comfortable and helping someone else get their PR was very rewarding. I needed this run to get myself back on track motivation wise. Now onto Beer Run #2 - Tyrannea

  • Comments: This is a fun race. The price is nice and its a bit spartan in race support with some water tables and stuff (bare bones) but with a single bottle in the fuel belt, i didnt even touch the water tables. Finishes at the Ale House and a good crowd. Whats not to like?

  • Comments: I would call this an average event. IMO, they needed more and better-organized Aid Stations with more volunteers. I had to wait a couple times just to get a drink of water because there was only one person working each station.
