  • Comments: Pros: Always well-organized. A very friendly venue. Cons: Rough & rocky transition area. 38th Street (first bike leg)is in notable disrepair.

  • Comments: Shermanator is a good race. It's well organized, there are plenty of aid stations, and it's an interesting location.

  • Comments: The below average on the Post race activities was really because the awards were done poorly IMHO. The winners were barely recognized, and after sitting through ALL the age groups of 5K runners, it seemed like they could've done a little better job with recognizing all the great athletes who placed top 3. There were no finisher awards (not that I really care, but for some people doing their first tri, it's nice to get a "little something for the effort"

  • Comments: This was a fun, little, local race. It was VERY cool that it was right on Mikes lake and the run and bike courses were through his neighborhood. The park-area was some what small (not the park it-self, but the area where transition and the start/finish was), but it made it REALLY cool at the end, and even during transitions, with all of the spectators gathered around and watching. I had a great time and I can't wait to do this race again next year.

  • Comments: Shermanator continues to be a fun race. It was even better organized than last year with a better layout in the transition areas and better crowd control than last year. The volunteers were helpful and friendly.

  • Comments: It was a good race overall and the turnout was great. There was definitely room for improvement in traffic flow, both of racers and of spectators. Unfortunately I think they are constrained by the amount of room they have at the race location.

  • Comments: Good race; great venue. The transition area was split up so the short course athletes were on one side of the transition and the long course athletes were on the other and each side was divided by snow fence; first time I had seen that done and it seemed to work well.
