We have a female yellow lab named Libby. We got Libby a puppy for Christmas this year, and her name is Ginger. We just got home from Ginger's family reunion today. She is a 9 month old wild and out of control black lab puppy. 7 of her brothers and sisters and her mom and dad were there and it was a blast. The mother lab held the reunion and she had a huge pond to swim in. All the dogs/puppys were in the water fetching dog toys. It was so funny and such a great time.

It was fun to see all the puppys almost full grown and to see what Libby didn't pick out. There was one puppy that we really wanted and now that he is grown...oh...he's ugly and skinny.

Out of the litter of 10, Ginger was one of two females. And one of two blacks. All the rest were white. If Libby will let us, we are going to prostitute her dog out and breed her sometime next year. Maybe I can breed her a couple of times to get a new bike (she says with $$ signs running through her head and her husband saying "what are you thinking..all those dogs?....NO)

But we will have at least one batch of babies. The mother of the line would like us to do that and keep the line going.

They sure are pretty! Have fun and remember to put away the running shoes or they will be come his favorite chew toy!

TdF aside, Floyd is a rad name for a lab. Floyd's your buddy. Floyd wants to go out and play. Floyd will fetch you crap. I vote for Floyd.

The Willy thing was good, I liked that, but Floyd is just cool.

I like the name....Foster...

I really like this one.  I wanted to name my new pup Kona before I got him, but after picking him up, it just didn't fit.  I recommend you wait until you get him/her home and see what the personality brings.  Either way, CONGRATS Aaron on the new dog!  Mine is great and going on 6 months now.  Speaking of which, he is barking right now because he wants to go out for his morning walk and to get the paper for me.  So, gotta go!

Now I'm getting the "Awww.  I want one" feeling.  I'm guessing that this is what happens to women when they see a baby.

I went with "Brooks".  I'm not much for naming living things after a company but Brooks provides one of most supportive running shoes and I figure this little guy will end up becoming one of your greatest running partners and supporters.

Shoot.  I should have said 'JS' for a name or 'Jacques Strap'.
